Muungano fundraising dinner to enhance the well-being of people living with HIV
Dear Friends of Muungano,
You are cordially invited you a fundraising dinner intended to contribute to enhance the well-being of group members. The HIV-SAM project is doing its best to empower PLHIV of African origins to re-enforce their resilience in order to confront the multiple challenges they face as PLHIV with a migrant background. One of the ways to do this is to help them raise some funds so that members can engage in small social, cultural and income generating projects!
Besides raising funds, another aim of the dinner is raise
awareness to the general public that people living with HIV are not victims of
their infection, but thanks to effective treatment, normal persons who live
normal lives.
The dinner will take place on Saturday 15 June 2019 at Cultureel
ontmoetingscentrum Sint-Andries (coStA), Sint-Andriesplaats 24, 2000 Antwerpen
beginning at 17h00. Please find other details about the dinner and how you can
support the group if you cannot attend the dinner in the invitation card
in attachment.
Please circulate this invitation in your network and I encouraged you to
bring along your partner, children and friends so that they can taste the
Afro-Belgo delicatesses and support people living with HIV.
