HIV STOPS HERE

Visit the Sensoa stand at the Pride Village (Operaplein) during the Antwerp Pride (14-15 August).
If you want to help stop HIV, advertise their stand on your social media (see bottom of this message) and/or share the campaign spot HIV stops here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHfVuBdQqL4…) on your own social media as from Saturday August 14!
How can you advertise? By making a video and posting it on your own social media. Below you will find some tips and two possible scenarios, but of course you are free to make your own. Of course, it is completely free of obligations, but if you would like to make a video, that would be great!
If you make a video and share it on your social media, the following things are important to mention:

  • Sensoa stand (visually recognizable: Pink Cross)
  • Possibility of free HIV-testing, free condoms & information
  • That you are going to take a look and hope that your followers will too
  • “HIV stops here”: if we all get tested and take medication faithfully if we test positive, the virus will no longer be measurable and not even transmissible during sex.
When posting, be sure to use the hashtags #hivstopthier #hiv #aids and tag @sensoa (facebook) or @allesoverseks (instagram)
  • Possible Scenarios:

Scenario 1:
HIV STOPS HERE!!!
Where? At the Sensoa stand in the Pride Village on the Operaplein. If you, as a person with HIV, take your medication faithfully, the virus can no longer be measured. In that case, the HIV-virus can no longer be transmitted through sex. Even if you do not use a condom! At the Sensoa stand, you can drop by for the spot, a free HIV test, free condoms or a chat. You can recognise this stand by the big pink cross.

Scenario 2:
The tune: “Stop in the name of Love”. You interrupt in time and say “HIV”.
“Yes, HIV stops here! Did you know that when you take HIV medication faithfully, the virus is no longer measurable? In that case, the HIV virus can no longer be transmitted through sex. Even if you don’t use a condom!
