Conventional counseling strategies often work well with clients from ethnic minorities, yet some questions may be tricky for service providers from a different cultural background. Over the years, the intercultural team of the HIV-SAM Project has acquired a deep knowledge of the distinct cultural and social realities of the diverse communities of Sub-Saharan African migrants living with HIV. On request we offer advice to professionals on individual cases. We also give lectures on the topic.
